Apple Cider Vinegar and Lemon Juice
Apple cider acts as natural cleanser and it helps detoxify body by assisting the removal of impurities within the body such as excess uric acid. It also aids in the restoration of acid balance in the body in addition to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
For preparation, you need to add one to two teaspoon of raw, unpasteurized, and organic apple cider vinegar into a glass of water. You may consume this twice or thrice a day until uric acid levels decreases.
In other hand, lemon juice yields an alkaline effect in the body which helps in neutralizing uric acid. You just need to squeeze half lemon into a glass of water and drink at morning into an empty stomach. You may do this for few weeks.
Avoid Purine-rich foods
Uric acid exists largely as urate, the ion form, and the amount of urate in the body depends on the balance between the amounts of purines eaten in food. The best way to avoid high levels of uric acid is avoid the source such as organ meat, sardines, bacon, herring, asparagus, anchovies, and among others.
